The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Vermont State University invites applications for Part-Time Clinical Instructors within our Practical Nursing Program and Associate of Science in Nursing Program. Located on campus sites across Vermont, we seek clinical instructors for various courses in fall 2025, winter , and spring 2026 semesters.

Clinical courses include long-term care, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, and maternal-child nursing, involving agency-based work and campus clinical labs. Instructors must have reliable transportation to clinical sites and labs, with expectations discussed during the interview and hire process.

Applicants should preferably be master’s prepared, though BSN-registered nurses will be considered. An active, unencumbered Vermont RN license or eligibility is required. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Salary depends on educational background and clinical hours. Compensation details are outlined in the Part-Time Faculty Federation Agreement.
