Pike is seeking safety-minded, qualified individuals to work on our Construction Team as part of the Vermont On-the-Job training (OJT) program. The selected individuals will perform a combination of activities under the supervision of a skilled highway construction worker to familiarize her/him with highway construction. The activities will include, but not be limited to raking, traffic control, clean up, and small equipment operation.

This position is for 520 hours on the Derby & Troy project. Classification:
Seasonal hourly position.

• $22/hr to $24/hr
• Overtime after 8 hours

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Must be willing and eager to learn about the construction industry.
• The willingness to work extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.
• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont when needed.
• A valid driver’s license.
