Business Analyst (Remote Opportunity)

Mind Computing is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join our Agile Scrum team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in Agile environments and has a proven ability to translate business needs into effective, high-quality software solutions. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of scalable, user‑focused products.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.

• Develop clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Support sprint planning by defining and prioritizing tasks that deliver incremental business value.

• Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.

• Analyze existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

• Partner with development teams to design and implement solutions that effectively meet business needs.

• Oversee testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support development, deployment, and maintenance.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and applying Agile best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.

• Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile environments, preferably within the SAFe framework

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and recommend effective solutions.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, documentation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate effectively.

• SAFe/Agile experience with Certified SAFe Practitioner certification.

• Experience working with the VA or other Government agencies
