Data Analyst
The University of South Dakota is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise and statewide administrative systems. This role focuses on hands‑on system development, integration, and business intelligence solutions that support institutional operations and data‑driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain large‑scale enterprise and statewide administrative systems.
- Modify and extend existing systems to align with evolving business processes, UI requirements, data structures, and enhancement requests.
- Provide advanced programming support for ERP systems, survey platforms, and document imaging solutions.
- Ensure interoperability, performance, and reliability across integrated systems.
- Design and implement enterprise business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and analytics models.
- Analyze and resolve data quality, reconciliation, and performance issues.
- Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and BI solutions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain effective security models, data views, and access strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools and techniques that balance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
