The University Libraries seeks a motivated, communicative and well-organized team member to advance the libraries’ support for the mission of the University of South Dakota.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with or will readily learn USD and SDBOR Human Resources and Payroll systems, policies and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and spoken communication
- Experience in using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with or an interest in event planning
Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of library employee hiring, onboarding, and personnel processes
- Supporting the dean of libraries through calendar management, communication, and coordination with internal and external constituencies
- Coordinating libraries’ campus/public‑facing events
- Developing and maintaining administrative policies
- Ensuring and carrying out library‑wide information management
- Supporting administrative processes related to grants and externally‑funded projects and programs
