Office Administrator/ Coordinator
The Graduate School seeks a detail oriented and self‑directed person to provide administrative support to the Graduate School.
Duties include:
- Administrative support for data management.
- Collecting data/information for monthly and annual reports.
- Assisting with graduate student registration and billing.
- Programming activities and providing administrative support to the Graduate School.
The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, and will demonstrate:
Key Knowledge & Skills- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Filing systems, both manual and electronic
- Modern office equipment, practices and procedures
- Manage multiple projects and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
- Effectively coordinate, plan and implement programming activities.
- Work independently with attention to detail and comply with deadlines.
- Interpret and comprehend graduate program policies and procedures.
- Advise graduate students with registration.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support to the Graduate School (coordinating meetings and schedules, activities, correspondence, plan travel, maintain files, invoices, and reimbursements).
- Experience with the University’s systems, policies, or procedures or experience in higher education is highly desired.
