We are now accepting applications for Pantry Cooks at Basin Harbor. Our Pantry Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food for grab‑and‑go items, light fare, and our employee cafeteria. Duties include prepping vegetables, fruits, breads and meats to make and cook deli‑style items, buffet‑style dishes, and stocking salad and sandwich bars.
We are seeking both full‑ and part‑time seasonal Pantry Cooks to join our team for our upcoming summer season from mid‑May through October 2026.
RequirementsEssential competencies include proper etiquette and service standards in a kitchen and service environment; prior food preparation experience preferred but training will be provided. Must be able to take direction, work in a team, have attention to detail, be efficient, and perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast‑paced environment. Must remember and follow kitchen cleanliness and food handling procedures. All kitchen staff require a clean, well‑kept, professional appearance.
Shift work may require up to 10‑hour shifts, walking and standing, and the ability to lift 20 lbs repeatedly. Basin Harbor conducts pre‑employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.
