Recreation and Kids Program

Overview

Basin Harbor is celebrating its 140th year and is inviting applicants to join our team. We have plenty in store, from new experiences and enhancements to time-honored traditions that continue to make this lakeside retreat special. We are now accepting applications for Recreation and Kids Program Staff for our upcoming season.

• Planning, leading, and supervising age-appropriate activities (sports, crafts, games) while ensuring participant safety, enforcing rules, and providing a positive environment.
• Administrative tasks including record-keeping, communication, and facility upkeep and cleaning before and after programs.

• Understanding the need for proper etiquette and service standards.
• Prior children's programming or camp counselor experience preferred.
• Ability to take and give clear direction and work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks systematically in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and follow safety protocols.
• Current CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Employees must maintain a clean, well-kept, professional appearance.
• Shift work may be long and varied, including evenings and weekends; full-shift walking and standing required.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently.
• Basin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.
