Job Overview

Mr. Rooter Plumbing, a nationally recognized plumbing leader, is looking for an experienced and results-driven Service & Plumbing Sales Manager to oversee sales operations and customer consultations across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. This senior-level role is ideal for a proven sales technician or plumbing professional with at least 10 years of industry experience who excels in building relationships, closing deals, and mentoring junior staff.

You'll drive revenue growth while upholding Mr. Rooter's standard for integrity, professionalism, and five-star customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations and assess client needs for plumbing services and solutions
• Provide expert guidance on plumbing products and installations
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Prepare accurate, code-compliant proposals and present compelling sales quotes
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure customer expectations are met
• Resolve customer inquiries and service issues promptly and professionally
• Stay current on plumbing technologies and industry trends
• Mentor and train junior technicians on plumbing knowledge and sales strategy
• Track customer communications and sales activity using Service Titan or similar CRM

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of plumbing experience, with sales and technical responsibilities
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
• In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems
• Proficiency in CRM systems, including Service Titan
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Customer-first approach with problem-solving ability
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Plumbing license or certification preferred (but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy plumbing tools and equipment
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites
