As a Security Officer - Area Patrol Driver in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and strong customer service.

You will document activity, support staff and visitors, and coordinate with site contacts as needed. At Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift while helping deliver reliable, innovative service.

• Provide customer service by following site‑specific security‑related procedures, facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including reporting concerns to the appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and common areas for unusual conditions such as suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, unauthorized persons, and/or hazards, and document observations per post orders.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
