Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily cash balances and record financial transactions, including intercompany transfers and client payments.
- Maintain general ledger accounts, project codes, and ensure data consistency across systems.
- Lead the monthly close process while supporting workflow improvements and internal controls.
- Plan check runs and ensure vendor payments are processed on time.
- Reconcile and post payroll and workers' compensation journal entries accurately.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Have at least 5+ years of accounting experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software, with Sage Intacct preferred; SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Maintain a solid understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices.
- Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Display experience with project-based or multi-entity accounting processes.
- Assist with audit support and ensure compliance in financial reporting.
- Apply strong analytical and forecasting skills to manage budgeting and financial tracking.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
