Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
- Lead or assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and provide clear explanations to management.
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to internal and external requests.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or eligibility.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close.
- Prior experience with public accounting and exposure to cost accounting.
- Familiarity with process automation or system implementation projects.
