Assistant Clinical Manager - Operating Room; Periop Services | Venice Campus

Job Summary

The Assistant Clinical Manager assists the manager with accountability and direct oversight over the daily activities of Peri-Operative Services - Venice. In this role, the leader also assists with setting the tone and modeling positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Operating Room

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) required within three (3) years of hire date.
• Two (2) years of current satisfactory RN experience in an acute care setting.

• Acute Care OR Experience
• CNOR Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year
• Previous experience in an Assistant Clinical Manager role
• Prefer program management, teaching, consulting, and outcome management experience.
• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
• Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, and provide decision-making expertise.
• Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
• Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center-based management.

BSN:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• BLS:
  Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License

• CNOR Certification or willing to obtain within 1 year
