About The Position
The Registered Nurse enhances the resident and family experience through nursing care and leadership, ensuring health and well‑being. The RN provides direct care, administers medications, evaluates and supervises nursing personnel, and operates in a caring and professional environment under the guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing, required.
- Three or more years’ nursing experience, preferred.
- Assisted living or home health care experience, preferred.
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of employment, required.
- Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language to educate, train and supervise staff; communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Knowledgeable of resident rights and ensuring an environment of privacy, dignity, and well‑being.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and work continuously without sitting for extended periods.
- Ability to lift or carry up to thirty (30) pounds.
