The Multi-Skilled Technician is an experienced health care worker who provides both patient care and administrative support.

Med Surg

• Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic, or a military Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic Specialist, or Aerospace Medical Service Specialist; or National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); must be maintained active during employment.
• Nursing students eligible for CNA exam: must be enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN), completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN degree or first trimester for LPN, and cannot be currently licensed as RN or LPN.
• PCT or CNA Certification:
  Provide certification of successful completion of a Florida State Board approved program and successfully obtain a Florida CNA license within 120 days of graduation. (Reference: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).)
• Employees hired without the above licensure and/or by years of experience prior to 11/11/19 are grandfathered and will have the option of obtaining the stipulated licensure.

• Ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient population served by the department.
• Working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
