Description
Assists perioperative nurses and anesthesia care providers with patient care and performs delegated patient care procedures in Surgical Services. Checks and restocks supplies; moves medical equipment; may prepare equipment for use and cleans and returns equipment to correct storage locations after use. Performs between case/end‑of‑case cleaning in the procedure rooms; performs anesthesia turnovers between patients and at end of schedule; and assists in maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Qualifications- Require Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Preferred: previous health care experience.
- Preferred: certification in related healthcare.
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
