The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their quality of life through one‑on‑one exercise instruction, hands‑on care, and patient education.

• Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations.
• Support patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and isokinetic program.
• Observe patients during treatments and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with staff and other health team members to plan, modify, and coordinate treatment programs.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and documentation standards.

• Current Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) licensure.
• HIPAA knowledge.
• Outpatient PTA experience.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
