The Association Banking Portfolio Administrator is responsible for the management of an Association Banking loan portfolio, as well as underwriting and presenting community association loans for approval.
This position is Hybrid.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Underwrite and present community association loans for approval. This duty is performed daily, about 40% of the time.
- Manage an association banking loan portfolio, including lines of credit and term loans which are collateralized by assignment of assessment rights or cash security. Responsible for annual reviews, renewal, and increase requests. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Ensure timely payment of loans in the portfolio. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with existing borrowers. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Close loan renewals/increases in accordance with approved terms and conditions. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Responsible for obtaining applications, forms, and documentation necessary to close and maintain Association Banking loans. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Request and review required due diligence, credit analysis, and cash flows for Association Banking loans. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Request and obtain necessary documentation via Vendor Order for Association Banking. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Organize and fund Association Banking loan closings with borrowers, in accordance with bank practices. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Create and verify required Association Banking loan documentation needed for closing. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Prepares and approves Association Banking loans to be submitted for booking and imaging. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
- Monitor and clear exceptions in the portfolio. This duty is performed quarterly, about 5% of the time.
- Submit adverse action requests for processing on Association banking denials, withdrawn loans, and counter offers. This duty is performed weekly, about 5% of the time.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBroad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 7 to 11 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLSAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
