Role DescriptionAs a Workforce Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant Payroll and Time & Attendance services for a local business unit. You will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining and improving the Time & Attendance system, and supporting automation and digitalization initiatives. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will be the main point of contact for payroll and T&A-related questions while working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on process optimization and service excellence.
- Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing in line with legal regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Time & Attendance system.
- Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within Payroll and T&A processes.
- Monitor payroll accuracy, document discrepancies, and support KPI and audit requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for payroll and Time & Attendance-related questions from associates and the business unit.
- Ensure all payroll and T&A instructions are clearly captured, understood, and applied correctly.
- Collaborate with third-party payroll providers to ensure all payroll and T&A changes are processed accurately.
- Update process documentation and ensure changes are properly recorded.
- Work closely with People Operations, Rewards, and Benefits teams on payroll and T&A changes.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll and Time & Attendance activities.
- Investigate, control, and correct payroll calculation and Time & Attendance discrepancies.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and solid knowledge of Time & Attendance processes.
- Experience working with payroll and T&A systems and understanding system effectiveness.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, including data analysis and system reconciliations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
