Vehicle Shuttle Driver – Port Operations (Concord)

Location: Concord, ON
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Schedule Options:

• Saturday to Wednesday OR
• Sunday to Thursday

We are currently hiring Vehicle Shuttle Drivers to support port operations in Concord. In this role, you will be responsible for safely driving brand‑new vehicles from one end of the port to the other, preparing them for rail transportation.

This is a steady, active position working outdoors in a fast‑paced automotive logistics environment. There is potential for permanent hire based on business needs

• Safely drive brand-new automatic and manual vehicles within the port.
• Shuttle vehicles from designated areas to the rail/train loading area
  .
• Maintain a strict 25 km/h speed limit at all times.
• Inspect vehicles for damage before transport.
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and supervisor instructions.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow priority loading instructions as directed.

• Inspecting units prior to offload.
• Assisting with loading and unloading railcars.
• Opening/closing railcar doors.
• Installing or removing wheel chocks.
• Bending, crouching, climbing ladders, and working at heights when required.
• Heavy lifting and working in confined areas.
• Ensuring all safety measures and track protection protocols are followed.

• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License (Full G).
• Driver’s Abstract (available from Service Ontario).
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual (standard) vehicles.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
