Location Kirby Links Golf Course Posted  Deadline  Job Summary Kirby Links Golf Course & Driving Range is seeking a passionate and organized Assistant Golf Professional to support daily operations, retail management, event coordination, and golf instruction. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service and experiences for golfers of all levels.

• Overseeing opening and closing procedures, maintaining Pro Shop organization and cleanliness, managing the tee sheet, ensuring adequate staffing and effective performance of outside operations (range staff), maintaining the cleanliness of the staging area and driving range, monitoring pace of play, and using LIGHTSPEED for all retail and golf-related transactions.

• Supporting the General Manager with merchandising tasks, including product displays, inventory management, promotional strategies, and sales.
• Responsibilities also include managing inventory for rental and demo clubs or sets.

• Assisting in the planning and execution of Men’s and Ladies’ leagues as well as facilitating both internal and external tournaments.

• Providing private golf instruction and assisting with the club’s junior golf programs.

• PGA of Canada professional in good standing (minimum 1-3 years of experience in the industry)
• Merchandise & Retail experience
• Private lesson and instruction experience
• Post-Secondary Education
• Excel in a team-oriented setting with a positive and cooperative mindset.
• Display excellent communication skills and a welcoming, approachable demeanor.
• Showcase strong organizational abilities and effective leadership qualities.
• Be proficient in POS and tee sheet systems (experience with Lightspeed is an asset).
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Hourly Range: $850.00 - $1000.00/weekly based on experience.
