We are seeking a high-caliber Business Success & Growth Manager to spearhead capital raising and partnership development for Sagewise Capital and our registered Exempt Market Dealer (EMD),
My Real Estate Fund (MREF) .
This is a "hunter" role designed for someone who can navigate the regulatory landscape of the exempt market while building massive trust with investors and brokerages.
About the Companies- Sagewise Capital: A private lending leader specializing in asset-backed mortgage investments.
- My Real Estate Fund (MREF): A registered Exempt Market Dealer (EMD)
- Field Marketing & Networking: High-frequency attendance at industry events, mixers, and seminars across the GTA to scout and secure new business.
- Investor Relations & Pitching: Present directly to investors. You must be able to articulate "The Why"—explaining exactly why our products are a strategic fit for their portfolio and closing the deal.
- Investor Presentations: Lead 1-on-1 and group presentations to explain the security of asset-backed investments. You must be able to articulate the "Set & Save" program and how MREF provides a diversified alternative to traditional markets.
- Brokerage Partnerships: Actively visiting and presenting to Brokerage to establish and nurture high-level referral partnerships.
- Network Expansion: Leveraging your personal network, social media presence (Linked In/Instagram), and local Vaughan/GTA networking groups to generate a consistent lead flow.
- Trust Building: Transitioning cold leads into long-term partners through high-integrity relationship building and financial expertise.
- The "Rainmaker": You have a proven track record of going out, finding people, and building rapport from scratch.
- A Master Presenter: Whether it’s a 1-on-1 with an investor or a room full of brokers, you command the floor with clarity and confidence.
- Mobile & Active: You enjoy being out of the office, meeting people face-to-face, and managing your own schedule to maximize impact.
- Experience: 3+ years in Sales, Business Development, or Financial Services.
- Public Speaking: Experience presenting to executive-level audiences or large groups.
- Financial IQ: Ability to discuss investment strategies and mortgage products with high-net-worth individuals.
- Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle are required for travel to events, brokerages, and client meetings.
- Licensing: Mortgage Agent or Dealing Representative (DR) license is a huge plus.
- Base Pay: TBD
- Commission: A lucrative, uncapped commission structure—your earning potential is tied directly to your hustle.
- Location: Modern office in Vaughan, ON
, serving as your home base for field operations. - Growth: Real upward mobility as we roll out new licensed products and services.
