Inside Sales Coordinator

Robertson Electric is currently looking for an Inside sales coordinator to join our head office in Vaughan.

The Inside Sales Coordinator role focusses on managing customer inquiries, handling customer orders, and communicating with customers regarding quotes, returns, and specs. Duties also include checking inventory for product availability, providing delivery dates to customers, and verifying prices. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, advanced Excel abilities, and an understanding of supply chain operations.

This role is critical for the business’ success. This position works in tandem with multiple National Account Managers for assistance and support. The ISC is the champion of service, support and response time. This role has room to grow, room to learn and room to have fun. The position is based at our Vaughan Head Office.

• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls in a professional manner
• Responsible for handling customer service requests which include order entry, pricing, order maintenance, etc.
• Assist and support Account Managers with customer orders and requests
• Deal with product-related problems that customers may have, such as defective products and the return of products
• Responsible for specifying products for customers
• Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management

• 2–4 years of experience in the electrical, lighting, or customer service industry
• Excellent written communication skills and professional phone manners
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
