As a Window covering sales and design consultant, you would be working on the road, visiting customers in your dedicated market, offering expert advice and selling our products using innovative digital selling tools and processes that are constantly improving. We also offer the opportunity to get involved with high‑level strategic and other initiatives.
Main Responsibilities- Make phone calls, create and develop sales presentations for prospective customers in‑person and virtually.
- Plan and organize the personal sales strategy by maximizing conversion and the return on investment for the territory.
- Help customers make decisions on color, style, texture, and functionality of window coverings.
- Return calls from customers and admin with a high sense of urgency.
- Use a system to manage contacts, appointments, and other pressing priorities.
- Learn new product lines and processes quickly.
- Work independently and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Business development & looking for new sales opportunities.
- Passion for design, sales and building lifetime customer relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree or some college coursework is preferred.
- In‑home or outside sales experience preferably in custom products/services or virtual selling.
- Proficiency using computer software applications and ability to learn new technology and systems.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance coverage.
- A comprehensive and highly competitive commission‑based compensation, with the possibility for a guaranteed salary in your first year.
- Training and professional development, including a support team of coordinators so you can focus on what you do best; offer design services to our customers. The majority of leads will be generated by Linen Chest.
- Linen Chest will provide a company iPad, phone & car allowance and all sample books and materials.
