Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a high-impact Strategic Marketing Manager to join our client's team as a pivotal leader and strategic partner. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for steering the marketing organization across North America, leveraging market intelligence and organizational insights to drive brand equity and market share. This is a unique opportunity for a "tactical strategist" to elevate a growing team, redefine brand messaging for the North American market, and eventually grow into a senior leadership position.

As the Strategic Marketing Manager, you will act as a proactive partner to the leadership team and sales organization. You will take ownership of the marketing team’s direction, bringing the gravitas and credibility necessary to present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders. This role requires a creative thinker who can maximize the marketing budget through innovation and smart resource allocation.

You will lead the transition of brand messaging—moving from global templates to strategies specifically tailored for Canada and the US. You will manage three primary distribution channels:
Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), B2B (Developers/Architects), and a growing Dealer Network. Your success will be defined by your ability to implement a strong strategic plan, optimize lead generation, and foster deep cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for North America, aligning short-term actions with long-term business growth and competitive positioning.
  • Sales Partnership & Coaching: Collaborate closely with the sales team to create initiatives that drive results; coach team members on marketing-driven sales techniques.
  • Market Intelligence: Lead research initiatives to identify new opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and translate complex data into actionable plans.
  • Channel Management: Drive lead generation for D2C, build brand awareness within the B2B construction/architect segment, and implement marketing support programs for the expanding US dealer network.
  • Agency & Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget and manage external agency relationships (specifically for Meta, Google, and SEO) to ensure high ROI and brand consistency.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead and guide the internal marketing team, fostering a high-performance environment and helping junior members elevate their professional presence.
  • Content & Brand Equity: Oversee the development of compelling creative assets that strengthen brand positioning and drive concept awareness in North American markets.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing roles, specifically within B2B, building solutions, or construction-related industries.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop forward-looking strategies and a 90-day roadmap that balances internal team capabilities with external agency support.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills; the ability to influence executive leadership and bring "gravitas" to data-driven discussions.
  • Agility: A proactive, resilient, and flexible mindset—capable of thriving during periods of strategic change and organizational evolution.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems, digital marketing analytics, and interpreting market data to optimize lead generation and decrease Cost-per-Click (CPC).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Creativity: Ability to "go to the drawing board" and innovate on a lean budget.
  • Extroverted & Social: Willingness to connect deeply with stakeholders and maintain a positive, humorous outlook.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously while remaining a collaborative team player.

Work Location: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Vaughan, Ontario)

Travel: Occasional travel required (1x/year to Europe; 1-2x/year to Vancouver and the US; occasional trade shows)

If you are a results-oriented strategist with the resilience to lead change and the tactical skills to deliver growth, we encourage you to apply today! Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience in B2B marketing and how you have successfully influenced cross-functional leadership teams.
