Manufacturing

Non-Exempt

• Maintain operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to high level production and quality standards
• Provide service support and troubleshoot machinery and equipment
• Complete Preventative Maintenance requirements and schedules
• Maintain Preventative Maintenance reporting and documentation
• Rebuild machinery to satisfy plant overhaul schedule
• Fabricate parts where applicable using machine shop equipment
• Assist in machine moves for new layouts and processes
• Provide support for any designated facility maintenance
• Comply with all company safety procedures and policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Contribute to a team effort within the department, providing communication and support

• Able to troubleshoot and follow machine operation sequences
• Maintain operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to high level production and quality standards
• Provide service support and troubleshooting skills for machinery and equipment
• Complete Preventative Maintenance requirements and schedules
• Maintain Preventative Maintenance reporting and documentation
• Rebuild machinery to satisfy plant overhaul schedule
• Fabricate parts where applicable using machine shop equipment
• Assist in machine moves for new layouts and processes
• Provide support for any designated facility maintenance
• Comply with all company Safety procedures and policies, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Contribute to a team effort within the department, providing communication and support

• Mechanic license is an asset
• 3-5 years related experience in sewing equipment maintenance
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical equipment: maintain, troubleshoot and rebuild
• Knowledge of PLC’s is an asset
• Knowledge of servo motors and drives is an asset
• Knowledge of Pneumatic systems and components is an asset
• Knowledge of basic electrical is an asset
• Welding experience is an asset
• Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance programs and scheduling is an asset

• Safety orientated, familiar with PPE, safety policies and procedures
• Read drawings and schematics
• Speak and read English
• Fork lift and scissor lift experience is an asset
• Continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting required for 8 hours or longer.
