Legal Assistant/Law Clerk — Vaughan, ON
Our client, a well established and growing company located in Vaughan, Ontario is in need of a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk to join its team. This is an exciting new opportunity to work within the legal department of a highly successful and thriving corporation.
Responsibilities- Drafting correspondence and assisting with drafting of legal documents
- Scheduling meetings and calendar management
- Maintaining purchaser files
- Enrolling lots in Tarion and maintaining Tarion database
- Tracking invoices
- Communication with other counsel and providing information and documentation as required
- Some experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Previous experience working in a real estate practice would be considered an asset
- Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills; upbeat, energetic and professional demeanour
