Job Description & How to Apply Below

SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Murfreesboro, TN in its search for a Workday Systems Analyst to take full ownership of their Workday platform, spanning HCM, payroll, finance, and recruiting systems. The Workday Systems Analyst is a newly created role that offers the unique opportunity to bring Workday support and strategy in-house, replacing reliance on third-party vendors.

The Workday Systems Analyst is a great opportunity for a rising Workday professional who’s ready to step into a broader role with visibility across every department and the chance to influence meaningful change. The Workday Systems Analyst comes with a hybrid work schedule and provides the opportunity to be the first in-house Workday owner — a true blank-slate opportunity, work under leadership that values autonomy, support, and growth, and gain exposure from every department.

An ideal candidate for the Workday Systems Analysis will be a self-starter who’s excited about taking ownership and building something from the ground up and has strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the internal owner of the Workday platform, partnering across Human Resources, finance, benefits, and recruiting to ensure optimal system usage
  • Lead and support configuration, integration, and maintenance of Workday modules
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand evolving needs, especially during open enrollment and other annual cycles
  • Reduce dependence on external Workday support partners by bringing system management in-house
  • Identify opportunities to improve functionality, efficiency, and end-user experience
  • Document and communicate system changes, enhancements, and configurations
  • Work closely with the benefits team and other department leads on requirements gathering and implementation
Qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience working with Workday, preferably across multiple modules
  • Proven ability to manage Workday end-to-end — configuration, testing, deployment, and support
  • Broad exposure across Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll, benefits, finance, and recruiting functions
  • Workday certifications, plus but not required
  • Experience working with third-party Workday partners, a plus
