Network and Systems Administrator

In the role of Network and Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in the upkeep and advancement of our clients' varied IT frameworks. Your responsibilities include actively monitoring, maintaining, and supporting network systems, servers, and related technologies of our clientele. A key aspect of your role will be providing end-to-end customer service for network and system-related issues, aiming to fulfill business objectives.
This role demands robust skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and diagnostics, coupled with effective communication capabilities.

Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network solutions for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Ensure optimal performance and security of client networks.

Manage and support client servers (Windows and Linux), including system installations, updates, and maintenance. Troubleshoot server-related issues and optimize system performance.
Utilize RMM tools to proactively monitor client environments, identify potential issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Implement and manage security measures to protect client data and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific security policies.

Manage and monitor backup solutions for clients. Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Provide high-level technical support to clients. Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system and network administration, preferably in an MSP or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS), Windows Server environments, and Linux systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
