Base pay range

CA $20.00/hr - CA $23.00/hr

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to provide first-level technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 11, ticketing systems, and a foundational understanding of networking and Active Directory. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support a variety of hardware and software environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for end-user hardware such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11 operating systems
  • Use a ticketing system to log, track, and manage service requests
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and group memberships in Active Directory
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and access issues
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in IT support or a related role
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting warehouse RF hardware (scan guns).
  • Knowledge and support of label printing devices.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 11
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Experience with Active Directory user and group management
  • Strong knowledge of end-user hardware: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
  • Must have access to a reliable car(for onsite visits).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
