Workforce Management HRIS Analyst – Vet Strategy

You’ll be the internal HCM/WFM configuration expert, translating evolving business needs into scalable, well‑documented configuration across scheduling, time & attendance, timeoff, and other workflows. You will improve visibility to labour management, simplify manager workflows, and strengthen data quality and compliance of our current state.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and maintain scheduling, timekeeping, timeoff/accruals, and pay rules/premiums to support operational needs and compliance.
- Design and optimize workflows, forms and approval routing (e.g., status changes, requests) with appropriate audit trails.
- Define and manage roles, permissions and security profiles to ensure consistent access for managers and staff.
- Establish and maintain master data standards (jobs, positions, skills, locations) to enable accurate rules and reporting.
- Create and iterate on operational dashboards (e.g., schedule variance, exception/readiness, labor metrics) using available reporting tools.
- Coordinate data flows and integrations (imports, exports, APIs) with HRIS, Payroll and practice systems; ensure reliable scheduling and time data.
- Document configuration decisions, change logs and release notes; avoid clinic disruption through sensible change windows.
- Run a configuration intake and prioritization process (e.g., RICE/impact scoring), with weekly or biweekly cadence and clear SLAs.
- Lead testing and validation (use cases, edge cases, regression) and partner with Payroll, HR and IT on cross‑functional changes.
- Produce quick reference guides and task‑based training for managers; support adoption and reduce tickets.
- Provide Tier‑2 support for WFM configuration issues; track trends and propose preventive fixes.
- 3–5+ years Dayforce or comparable HCM/WFM configuration experience (UKG/Kronos/Workday).
- Hands‑on with workflows, forms, approval rules, roles/security, scheduling, timekeeping, timeoff/accruals, and pay policies/premiums.
- Understanding of compliance concepts (e.g., breaks/stat holidays, overtime rules) and auditability.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills; comfort with Excel and common reporting tools.
- Clear stakeholder communication across Operations, HR and Payroll.
- Dayforce certifications or formal module training (WFM/Payroll).
- Experience with data integrations (imports, exports, APIs), SSO, and user provisioning.
- Exposure to healthcare/clinic operations or multisite scheduling environments.
- Experience setting up CAB/governance and release management.
