Account Executive, TD Equipment Finance – Vaughan, North York & Surrounding Area
TD Securities is seeking an Account Executive to develop and close new business in the Vaughan, North York and surrounding area. The role reports to the Senior Sales Manager of TD Equipment Finance (TDEF) and requires building strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects.
Location & HoursWork Location: Burlington, Ontario, Canada (primarily servicing Vaughan, North York and surrounding area).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Pay & BenefitsBase Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 CAD.
Commission-based earnings are available and are paid in addition to the base salary. Job DescriptionTD Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to North American businesses. Our Equipment Finance team structures leases and loans for business clients as an alternative to conventional term loans.
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Drive new business through external outreach, cold calling, referrals, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy within the region, building a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Build and deepen relationships with internal and external partners to increase referral flow.
- Structure creative, competitive equipment finance solutions tailored to client needs.
- Assess credit requests, prepare credit applications and collaborate with the TDEF credit team.
- Deliver exceptional service at every interaction and continuously improve the customer experience.
- Identify and respond to changes in the business environment, establishing action plans to address customer issues and priorities.
- Enhance the TDBG brand by participating in community events and network opportunities.
- Promote and refer suitable TDBG Business Partners and Products as part of the “Deliver the Bank” initiative.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and industries within the portfolio, ensuring value added service and mitigating risk to the bank.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales and/or customer relationship management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial industry or equipment financing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative, team-driven environment.
- Superior business development skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
- Strong initiative and relationship building capabilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of finance and accounting, with excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the equipment finance and leasing industry.
The head office is in Burlington, but the role will be based in the Vaughan, North York area. The position is full‑time and requires regular travel within the service region as needed.
