- Design and develop electrical schematics and layouts for industrial automation systems.
- Specify electrical components, instrumentation, and hardware to meet performance and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or integration issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the build, wiring, and commissioning of complex automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain technical manuals and documentation for equipment operation and support.
- 5+ years of electrical design experience in automation or industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or Solid Works Electrical.
- Strong understanding of servo motors, VFDs, motor controllers, relays, and electrical wiring systems (low to high voltage).
- Experience with electromechanical components (pumps, sensors, valves, blowers, compressors).
- Knowledge of industrial networks such as Ether
CAT, Ether Net/IP, and Modbus preferred. - Familiarity with PLC, HMI, or Motion Control systems (Beckhoff / Codesys experience is an asset).
- Ability to travel occasionally for system installations or support.
