KIDSTRONG COACH

Kid Strong Kleinburg is seeking enthusiastic and experienced coaches with a background in athletics, coaching, or pediatric development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 15 months to 8 years old or possess pediatric occupational therapy (OT) or physical therapy (PT) experience. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for child development, fitness, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and facilitate Kid Strong classes using the established curriculum.

· Engage and communicate effectively with parents to educate them on the Kid Strong methodology.

· Create a positive, high-energy environment that motivates and encourages children.

· Ensure safety and proper form in all physical activities and exercises.

· Support and contribute to team culture, assisting fellow coaches and leadership as needed.

· Maintain classroom structure and discipline to promote a constructive learning experience.

· Adhere to all Kid Strong policies and procedures.

Experience:

· Prior coaching or teaching experience with young children (ages 15 months – 8 years).

· Background in athletics, fitness, early childhood education, or pediatric OT/PT preferred.

· Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both children and parents effectively.

· A positive, energetic, and motivating presence.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Work Schedule:

• Weekdays: 3PM - 8PM
• Weekends: 9AM - 1PM, 2PM - 6PM

Qualifications:

· Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification

· Vulnerable Sector Check

· Kid Strong Coach Certification (provided upon hire)
