* Solid work experience in purchasing, ideally in a similar industry.
* Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills.
* Self-starter with good instinct for negotiation.
** Challenges awaiting you:
*** Ensure that inventory in stock is sufficient to meet customer needs.
* Purchase products in accordance with agreements while making the right choice for the business centre, depending on the situation; manage returns to suppliers.
* Keep supplier and/or product information up to date to ensure data integrity within our systems.
* Collaborate with the sales team to assess the need for new products or product categories and update the system as necessary.
* Maintain excellent communications and follow up consistently with suppliers.
* Participate in preparing the inventory; analyze and correct discrepancies promptly. Manage stock write-downs to minimize their financial impact on the business centre.
* Keep your technical knowledge of product lines up to date in order to respond to customer requests.#
