Overview
We are seeking a full time Office Administrator/Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping, communication and computer skills (Sage Accounting, Word and Excel). Several years experience bookkeeping would be preferable.
Responsibilities- Processing A/P, A/R, journal and other entries in custom software and payroll in Sage Accounting programs;
- Preparing monthly financial reports, payments to CRA for GST, payroll and corporate tax, etc., telephone reception, preparing year end reports for accountant and management;
- Maintaining files, customer and vendor lists;
- Assisting at front counter, greeting customers, process payments including POS machine and cash handling.
- Experience in a Welding/Repair shop setting is desirable but not mandatory;
- Class 5 or higher driver's license desirable;
- References, driver's abstract required
