Senior Accountant

Overview

Senior Accountant – 3 Month Contract

• Full cycle month end closing duties including;
• Producing complete financial statement packages with supporting analysis
• Full cycle booking of journal entries including revenue recognition, expense drawdowns, accruals, payroll, etc.
• Managing capital assets
• Perform global intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Liaise with Business unit(s)
• P&L Analysis
• Support the quarterly reviews and year end audit
• Provide ad-hoc support for corporate projects and initiatives

• CPA or equivalent accounting designation
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
• Strong computer literacy with advanced level Excel skill (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas) are required
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong self-initiative to operate independently
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Creative problem-solving skills and motivation to improve processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

$37 / Hour
