Our client is a fast-growing food distributor located in Vaughan, Ontario. They operate across multiple channels, supplying major retailers, wholesalers, and independent businesses with high-quality food products. Robertson is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client’s accounting team.

Contract Period: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: $60,000 annually.

Location: Vaughan, Ontario.
Location Type: Onsite.

Hours:

Monday to Friday;
Core Business Hours.

• Manage Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
• Prepare and issue invoices and assist with accounts receivable functions
• Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements
• Work closely with management to support general accounting functions within a busy food distribution environment

• 2+ years of related bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Diploma in Accounting (required)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
• Experience with ACCPAC (required or strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical abilities, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced distribution environment
