Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all financial accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, general ledger postings, and month‑end reports.
- Assist in payroll preparation and submission.
- Support financial audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
Skills and Experience:
- Bookkeeping
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, ideally within a fast‑paced environment. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (such as Quick Books, Sage, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel. - Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
- Education: Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Extra Consideration will be given to those who have experience with:
Full‑Cycle Bookkeeping, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Invoicing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
