Research Intern Role

Location:

Varanasi (Hybrid)
Internship Duration: 3 Months (with possibility of extension or full-time conversion)

Role Overview
This internship is ideal for students or freshers who are curious, hands-on, and eager to learn. The role involves research, outreach, documentation, and exposure to real-world agricultural and startup operations. You will work directly with the founding team, gain ownership of small projects from early on, and understand how a grassroots startup grows.

Key Responsibilities
Government & Grants:
Identify relevant portals, schemes, and grant opportunities, and assist in outreach, basic application preparation, and maintaining structured databases of deadlines and eligibility.
Market & Business Research:
Study market landscapes by mapping cities, identifying buyers and suppliers, tracking price trends, and supporting expansion-related research.
Field & Operations Support:
Assist gathering on-ground insights from markets, and interacting with farmers and local vendors when required.
Content & Knowledge Support:
Convert research into simple, easy-to-understand reports and help create learning materials and summaries for internal use and farmer education.

Who Should Apply (Eligibility)
Students, freshers, and experienced individuals are welcome
No formal degree required (even 10th pass is acceptable)
Strong interest in research, markets, agriculture, and grants
Comfortable with on-ground visits and interacting with scientist, farmers and vendors

Preferred Skills / Basic Knowledge
Primary and Secondary research
Ability to read and write research papers
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Google Sheets / Excel
Google Docs / MS Word
Basic presentations (PowerPoint / Google Slides / Canva)
English speaking and writing skills
Familiarity with AI tools
Must have a personal laptop (compulsory)

Training & Support

Pay   Subject to skill level and existing experience. Fair market compensation.
