Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and strong Plant Manager to oversee complete operations of our 5,000 sq. ft. manufacturing unit in Vapi.
The plant handles steel plated wire materials that are processed and dispatched in truckloads. The role requires complete ownership of factory operations, manpower management, production efficiency, and performance deliverables aligned with defined KPIs and KRAs.
The ideal candidate must be decisive, execution-focused, and capable of handling local workforce dynamics effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Production and Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end plant operations
Manage loop cutting (e.g., cutting 500-meter loops into 3-meter sections)
Supervise welding, packing, and dispatch processes
Ensure smooth execution of Cutting, Welding, and Packing operations
Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely truck loading and dispatch
Improve operational efficiency and minimize material wastage
Team Management
Lead and manage a team of 20–25 employees
Allocate manpower effectively across production stages
Maintain discipline, productivity, and accountability on the shop floor
Handle local workforce and labor-related matters confidently
KPI and Performance Management
Deliver on defined KRAs and KPIs related to:
Production output
Quality standards
On-time dispatch
Cost control
Downtime reduction
Maintain daily and monthly production reports
Quality and Safety
Ensure adherence to safety norms and factory compliance
Maintain quality standards during cutting, welding, and packing processes
Prevent breakdowns through proper maintenance coordination
Coordination and Administration
Coordinate with logistics teams for truck dispatch planning
Manage vendor coordination for raw material and supplies
Ensure smooth overall functioning of the plant

Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum 10 years of experience in plant or factory management
Experience in steel, wire, fabrication, welding, or heavy material manufacturing preferred
Strong leadership and people management skills
Firm, disciplined, and result-oriented personality
Ability to handle the local workforce confidently
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Operationally strong with focus on execution and delivery
