Plasterer Foreman

Legacy Finishing Systems is looking to expand its team with experienced foreman plasterers.

* LOCATION - no home base, you go where the jobs are - requires travel around the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas.

* Candidates must have reliable transportation!

* No background check required.

* Must pass drug screen.

* Must be authorized to work in the US. Legacy participates in E-Verify.

* Must have high school diploma or GED

* Must join union.

* PREFERRED - Hawk and trowel knowledge

* PREFERRED

- Experience with plaster

* PREFERRED - Knowledge of plaster mixing

Job Description:

* Apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes, or spray guns

* Set up scaffolds

* Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as by troweling or spraying on coats of stucco.

* Clean and prepare surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials, such as by drywall taping.

* Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.

* Mold or install ornamental plaster pieces, panels, or trim.

* Other duties as assigned by foreman.

Requirements:

* Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces as needed.

* Basic hand tool knowledge

* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately
