As the General Manager, you will have ownership of the Dayton branch’s performance, culture, and growth. You are the strategic and operational leader responsible for driving revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team engagement across HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical operations.
This role requires a hands‑on leader who can inspire teams, hold high standards, and execute with discipline—while building a strong, people‑first culture aligned with Thomas & Galbraith’s values.

Build and sustain a high-performing team by recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining top talent
Set the tone for culture and brand loyalty through daily huddles, team meetings, and regular 1:1s
Serve as a customer‑first ambassador, ensuring exceptional service and swift resolution of customer concerns
Establish and maintain strong operational processes for labor planning, material distribution, and scheduling
Partner cross‑functionally with support teams, procurement, sales, field operations, and technical services to ensure best practices
Maintain accurate inventory controls across fleet, parts, and materials to minimize discrepancies
Collaborate diplomatically with vendors, government agencies, community leaders, and external partners
Drive business growth by meeting or exceeding financial goals; analyze forecasts and costs to guide strategy
Implement and document scalable processes that align with company objectives
Promote and maintain a safe, accident‑free, and healthy work environment
Recognize and develop team members through coaching, performance evaluations, and timely compensation reviews
Oversee all branch operations including workforce planning, resource allocation, and execution against business objectives
Drive accountability, monitor performance trends, and take corrective action to achieve revenue and gross margin targets
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
High computer proficiency (Microsoft preferred; Service Titan experience a plus)
10+ years of management experience demonstrating strong leadership, customer focus, problem‑solving, and decision‑making
5+ years leading day‑to‑day operations within a Home Services business (HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical)
Proven track record of year‑over‑year business growth
Valid driver’s license
