Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our in-office team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in bringing modular home designs to life by producing high-quality architectural and production drawings. If you have a passion for residential architecture and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to projects that make a real impact on families and communities.
Familiarity with residential codes is a plus.
This is a full-time, in-office position (Monday through Friday), offering 45 hours per week with overtime pay for any hours above 40. All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
Core Responsibilities:
* Create comprehensive architectural drawings, including foundation and floor plans, elevations, and detailed layouts for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as cross sections and related documents.
* Develop precise production drawings covering deck layouts, wall framing details, truss configurations, and additional essential building components.
Qualifications
Required:
* Proficiency with AutoCAD architectural drafting software is a must.
* Solid understanding of residential construction practices; experience in modular home building is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with residential building codes.
* Self-motivated and able to manage assignments efficiently and on schedule.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
