Key Skills You'll Use or Learn:

Paving & Surface Work

* Operate or assist with asphalt pavers, rollers, and other equipment

* Help install smooth, durable asphalt surfaces for driveways, roads, parking lots, and more

Site Prep & Layout

* Set up job sites safely and efficiently

* Assist in grading, drainage setup, and preparing gravel foundations before paving

Attention to Detail

* Help ensure all paving meets quality standards and project specifications

* Work on both residential and commercial jobs-including schools, parks, athletic tracks, and subdivisions

Teamwork & Communication

* Work closely with a crew and foreman to get the job done right

* Follow directions clearly and communicate effectively with others on-site

Physical Work & Safety

* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

* Ability to lift, carry, and work on your feet for long periods

* Follow all safety guidelines to keep yourself and your team safe
