About the RoleWorking closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Receiving Department. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data entry, processing and receiving documentation, maintaining accurate records and other receiving related activities. This role reports to the RFC Operations Manager.
Responsibilities Include- Monitoring inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Inbound scheduling by Phone, Email or Online.
- Working directly with the Transportation team to ensure work is ready.
- Receiving BOLs from all delivery drivers, verifying that the quantities match the Receiving Document.
- Creating and scanning receiving documents daily.
- Checking and recording the quantity of the merchandise for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
- Logging and tracking all problems relating to receiving/shipping, contacting all parties involved to ensure each is aware of the problem.
- Close and dispatch outbound loads when ready.
- Accurately inputting a high volume of data on various spreadsheets concerning incoming merchandise in a timely manner.
- Recording and reporting shortages and discrepancies.
- Communicates efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person and through e‑mail to coordinate returns, rejections and credits.
- Ensures friendly, efficient and professional customer service.
- Monday to Friday 2:30 pm–11:00 pm.
- Base Pay Range: $22 per hour.
- 401(k) Profit Sharing.
- Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
- 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving role or within logistics, freight carriers, or warehouse operations.
- Previous experience with safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools (training provided if needed).
- Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to fellow team members and customers.
- Ability to comply with all WFM policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork.
- Ability to work well with others, self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
- Making sure the department is meeting all SOX compliance.
