As a Software Engineer Iat Diligent,you’llhelp build the foundation of our next-generation SaaS platform that makes governance simple and powerful for our global customers.

You’lldevelop secure, scalable, and high-performing microservices, primarily using Type Script in a serverless architecture on AWS.

Working in one of our core governance teams,you’lltake end-to-end ownership of services, from development to deployment and monitoring.

You’llbe part of architectural discussions, actively contribute to sprint demos, and gain exposure to the full product lifecycle.

This role is perfect for someone early in their engineering journey who is eager to grow, experiment, and make a meaningful impact from day one, including exploring how AI tools can enhance development workflows and outcomes.

• Deliver technical contributions on early-career tasks with growing autonomy.
• Own smaller user stories independently; partner with senior engineers on more complex projects.
• Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset, especially around AI: experiment with AI-assisted techniques to learn new languages/frameworks or solve problems.
• Follow engineering best practices (code quality, testing, CI/CD) and contribute to a healthy team flow.
• Use AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, research, and code reviews, always validating outputs and applying judgment.

• 1–3 years of hands-on software development in an agile environment.
• Growth mindset in AI:
• Familiar with core AI concepts and terminology (machine learning, large language models, generative AI).
• Can name common tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Git Hub Copilot, Cursor) and describe their general use.
• Understands that AI outputs are probabilistic and must be validated, not taken as facts.
• Knowledge of AI-powered coding tools:
  Awareness of how to integrate tools like Git Hub, Copilot, Cursor, or similar into daily tasks, with an emphasis on reviewing and refining AI outputs responsibly.
• Familiarity with Node.js and/or Type Script, building RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI specs.
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
• Understanding of Git and version control best practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerization workflows.
• Awareness of data privacy and compliance when using AI tools, knows not to share proprietary or sensitive information and can flag potential privacy, safety, or fairness issues.
