Whatthis job involves:
As a Facilities Technician at JLL, you’ll play a vital role in shaping a brighter way for our clients by ensuring their facilities operate seamlessly and efficiently. This position focuses on the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. You’ll work collaboratively with SME Technicians while also taking ownership of independent maintenance tasks, supporting everything from HVAC systems and lighting to interior fixtures and safety compliance.
Your expertise will directly contribute to creating environments where our clients can thrive through proactive facility management.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
- Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions that impact client operations and occupancy satisfaction
- Handle general interior maintenance including hanging pictures, whiteboards, and completing small repairs
- Assist operations teams with building and equipment maintenance as directed by management
- Replace lighting fixtures and maintain HVAC systems by cleaning coils, changing filters, and replacing belts
- Complete safety assessments and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1‑3 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work
- Valid state driver’s license
Physical capabilities to lift 80 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
Preferred qualifications:- Third‑party certifications in relevant trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Previous experience in commercial facility environments
- Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Practices
Location: Vancouver WA
Shift: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Salary/Comp: $49K – $71K
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position: 49,500.00 – 71,800.00 USD per year
