This is a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team! This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.
The RoleReporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation and or other methods
- Repair any damage to pipes by regular inspection and detect any malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of service cycles in a timely manner
- Assemble new pipes and plan layout of the same pipes
- Install pipe to structure
- Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
- Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required
- Monday to Friday Night shift works
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
- Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
- Current Drivers Licence
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- Previous construction experience (minimum 2 years’ experience) with Carbon, Stainless Steel and threaded pipe
- Know how to read ISO drawings and PI&D
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
