Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded a new Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project in Kwinana working Monday-Friday Night shift. This is a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team! This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.

Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
• Examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation and or other methods
• Repair any damage to pipes by regular inspection and detect any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of service cycles in a timely manner
• Assemble new pipes and plan layout of the same pipes
• Install pipe to structure
• Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
• Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required
• Monday to Friday Night shift works

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
• Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
• Current Drivers Licence
• Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
• Previous construction experience (minimum 2 years’ experience) with Carbon, Stainless Steel and threaded pipe
• Know how to read ISO drawings and PI&D
• Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
