🔧 What You’ll DoAs a Garage Door Technician, you’ll be the trusted expert customers rely on—combining technical skill, problem‑solving, and outstanding service.
Install, repair, and maintain residential, commercial, and industrial garage doors and openers.
Perform thorough inspections to ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality expectations.
Diagnose issues, explain solutions clearly, and recommend products or upgrades when appropriate.
Deliver a positive, professional, and empathetic customer experience on every call.
Document work accurately with notes, diagrams, and photos to support future service needs.
Communicate and coordinate with teammates to keep operations running smoothly.
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and customers.
Continue developing your skills through training and hands‑on experience.
Take pride in workmanship that exceeds customer expectations.
🧠What We’re Looking ForValid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and use basic hand and power tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Comfort working in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have (but not required):
Experience with garage door systems (commercial systems a big plus).
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
Experience using Service Titan or similar service software.
